Install and update Sreni

Everything you need to get Sreni running on Windows 11, and what to do if something doesn't work.

Before you start

Sreni supports Windows 11 on 64-bit (x64) computers. macOS and Linux are planned but not available yet.

During the pilot you need an invitation to sign in. If you don't have one yet, request pilot access first.

Install

  1. Download the installer from the link you were given or from the download page.
  2. Open the downloaded file. Windows shows the publisher name before it installs.
  3. When installation finishes, open Sreni from the Start menu.
  4. Choose Sign in. Your browser opens to complete sign-in, then returns you to the app.
  5. Accept your invitation and set up your profile.

If Windows shows a warning

Windows may show a message before running a newly downloaded installer. Check that the publisher shown matches the publisher listed on our download page.

If the publisher doesn't match, or none is shown, don't run the file. Delete it and contact support. Never turn off Windows security features to install Sreni.

Updates

Sreni checks for updates on its own and downloads them in the background. Each package is checked to confirm it is genuine before it can be installed.

When an update is ready you'll see Restart to update. Sreni waits while you have unsaved work, and keeps your settings and drafts.

Troubleshooting

The download stopped part way

Start the download again from the same page. Partial files can't be repaired, so delete the incomplete file first.

The browser didn't open when I chose Sign in

Check that Windows has a default browser set (Settings, Apps, Default apps), then choose Sign in again.

Sign-in worked but I can't get past the invitation step

Make sure you signed in with the email address the invitation was sent to. If it still fails, contact support with the time it happened.

An update is waiting but Sreni hasn't restarted

Sreni waits while you have unsaved work. Save or discard your drafts, then choose Restart to update.
